"A few years ago, the St. Marys Museum restored the large double-storey veranda at its front entrance. Terry Kittmer was hired to make and install the railing and turned spindles on the second level and to recreate the scalloped trim along the eaves of the upper veranda roof. At this time, he also replaced several sections of trim that was missing along the gables. Terry Kittmer did this restoration work completely to the Museum's satisfaction, reproducing the trim by working from old photographs. He is a prompt, efficient and courteous person to deal with and, in this area, he has an excellent reputation for any kind of construction, particularly that involving working with wood. I can recommend his work without hesitation. - Mary A. Smith, Curator, St. Marys Museum |
